VAS 6558A/49 - High-voltage test adapter set

High-voltage test adapter VAS 6558A/49-1 is used for safe adaptation of the measuring tips of a measuring device at the electrical connector on the vehicle stipulated by the vehicle manufacturer.
High-voltage test adapter VAS 6558A/49-1 is suitable for the following measurements:

• De-energisation measurement
• Insulation resistance measurement
• Transmission measurement

Test adapters VAS 6558A/49-2 “A” and “B” are suitable for the following measurement:

• Checking of high-voltage test adapter VAS 6558A/49-1

Test adapters VAS 6558A/49-2 “A” and “B” must not be placed on the vehicle, as these have been exclusively intended and developed for the functional check of high-voltage test adapter VAS 6558A/49-1.
Only use the product in accordance with the operating instructions. Otherwise, the protection measures in the product intended to protect against electrical hazards can no longer be guaranteed.

Test equipment monitoring
VAS 6558A/49-1 includes personal protection resistors, and checking is mandatory.
Checking is done with test adapter set VAS 6558A/49-2.

Calibration intervals
First check after 24 months
Subsequent check every 12 months

Test adapter set VAS 6558A/49-2 is used exclusively for checking high-voltage test adapter VAS 6558A/49-1 and must not be placed on the vehicle.
In addition, the VAS 6558A/49-2 test adapter set for testing (continuity testing/measuring insulation resistance) can be used on removed HV lines!
