""Premium"" diagnosis system VAS 6160C
Due to technical advances, the ""Premium"" VAS 6160C (ASE 995400 53 xxx) diagnostic system is now the direct successor to the VAS 6160B.
The operating system is prepared for ""Offboard Diagnostic Information System Service"" use. Other software systems used in the Volkswagen organisation can be installed without trouble.
The workshop-ready display features an anti-glare non-reflective coating that facilitates work in a whole range of different light conditions.
Furthermore, two ""rugged"" USB connections designed to withstand the rigours of workshop use prevent wear on standard USB connections thanks to their sturdy design.
WLAN-certification has been carried out by an accredited testing laboratory. With a certified safe drop height of 90cm and protection class IP 65 (no ingress of dust, protection against water jets at any angle and touch protection), it can withstand even the toughest of conditions in the workshop. If used with workshop trolley VAS 6556A, the docking station is also secured to prevent it from slipping.
The delivery does not include a diagnostic unit (VCI). This must be ordered separately if required.
